Spring Fishing and Living in Cape Coral, Florida

With its vast canal system and convenient location on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River, Cape Coral offers several fishing opportunities of both the freshwater and saltwater variety. Early spring fishing has been an enjoyable activity with the daytime temperatures hovering around 80 and 60's at night. Redfish are swimming about everywhere, as are mackerel. Sea trout are also plentiful and pompano have arrived. A great way to enjoy the wonderful weather: Go fishing!

Living and Dining in Cape Coral

There's not a lack of eateries in Cape Coral.  The Parkway and Del Prado are filled with restaurants and cafes.  A few stand out.  For instance, Papa Joe's, an Italian place located in Downtown Cape Coral, right off the Parkway.  The atmosphere is nice but simple.  The food is excellent, from the pizza to the pasta to the salads.  New York style and quality food on a warm Florida evening . . . . . .
